新的體育和科學中心彙集了學校課程的兩個截然不同的領域，同時還採用了最先進的節能技術。設施包括一個電影院式的禮堂，可以直接視頻連接到全球各地的科學系，還有18個大學標準實驗室。在運動方面，有一個25米的游泳池，兩倍高的運動廳，加上一個令人驚歎的屋頂跑道，可以俯瞰附近的南唐斯山全景。這是一座為零排放而設計的建築，但風格極富特色。
The new term has seen the official opening of Brighton College’s new School of Science and Sport. This spectacular new building provides pupils with state-of-the-art facilities for both learning and training.
With a schedule already in place for use of the swimming pool, the Prep School pupils will have many opportunities to make good use of the new sports facilities.
In the meantime, they had the chance to put their athletic skills to the test and enjoy some healthy competition when they visited the new facilities.

Our new building, The School of Science and Sport, was officially opened to pupils and staff in a special ceremony on Thursday. Reflecting our forward-thinking approach to education, this pioneering building offers pupils and staff an inspiring, collaborative and truly unique workplace.
We're very proud of the new building, and incredibly thankful to everyone who played a part in its conception and creation. Pupils begin lessons in the building on Monday, and we know everyone is excited to have a chance to explore some of the amazing new facilities!
The new Sport and Science Centre draws together two contrasting areas of the school curriculum while also deploying state-of-the-art energy conservation technology. Facilities include a cinema-style auditorium with direct video links to science departments across the globe, along with 18 university-standard laboratories. For sports, there's a 25 metre pool, double height sports hall plus a stunning rooftop running track with panoramic views across the nearby South Downs hills. This is a building designed for zero emissions but maximum style.
